My wife got me a Nintendo 3DS for my birthday. It's an amazing device. It does however have one major bug, it doesn't allow you to input the = symbol in the WPA key for the wireless setup in English. Usually, for the input on the 3DS, there are buttons below the keyboard that has the extra symbols. But in the wireless key input, those buttons are greyed out. I discovered that by changing your language to another language, you can use the = symbol. My key has a < and the = in it, so I ended up using the Portuguese language because that keyboard allows both keys on the main keyboard. Read 1 Comments... >> |
Found out how to do sync my playlists with MediaMonkey to use with the native player on my T-Mobile Vibrant. Should work with the Captivate or any Galaxy S for that matter. The problem is that the stock music player will not recognize .m3u playlists that are normally generated when syncing playlists via a mass storage device mode. I only tested this on my phone that has the 2.1 update 1 J16 Firmware on it.
What you need: - A Galaxy S phone - Stock Firmware with TouchWiz Home - MediaMonkey Music software (http://www.mediamonkey.com) 1. Install MediaMonkey if you don't have it already 2. You need to have the TouchWiz Home as your default home app. If you are using an alternate app, download Home Switcher from the market to set the TWHome as your default temporarily. 3. Go to Settings > Applications > USB Settings, Select Media Player. 4. Connect your phone to the computer via USB. It will throw the phone into MTP mode and your phone will show up on your Windows based computer as a media device in My Computer. 5. Go to MediaMonkey. If you haven't used it before, you'll have to import all your music and create playlists there. If you already have your music and playlists, right click on a playlist and select Send to > [Phone Type] - [Card or Phone, depending on where you want the music]. I sent mine to the SD card 6. Your music will be sent over and the playlist generated. 7. After the sync is complete, hit the home key on your phone to disconnect from MTP mode. 8. You should now see your music and playlist on your phone. 9. If you have an alternate home app, you can use home switcher to switch it back. Only downside to this is that if you don't use the TouchWiz home, you'll have to switch to it before the MTP mode will work. Read 27 Comments... >> |

Patterns: It May Not Be Caffeine Keeping You Awake
You may not need that cup of coffee. A study has found that once people get through caffeine withdrawal — terrible headaches, among other unpleasantness — they feel just as wide-awake on a placebo as they do on caffeine. Read 0 Comments... >>
